In my heart, I have a special place for tools that make programmers more productive. Right now, I'm focused on building the future of software engineering with AI at Cognition, where Devin works alongside engineers to take on real work end-to-end. Before that, I was a software engineer at Retool and I made some useful open-source libraries, including form-genie and promptfactory.

A side curiosity of mine: what is the next big consumer app? I got to explore this at Superdrop by building:

• Cami (heycami.com): AI assistant that grew to over 1M monthly active users
• DreamTavern.ai: AI-generated storytelling and roleplaying platform

Growing up in Romania, I learned not to take economic freedom for granted. I'm excited about technologies that enable it.

• I worked on Marble Wallet, a wallet that would make it easier for anyone to own digital assets and interact with web3 apps.
• I also contributed to Balaji Srinivasan's 1729 project.

I'm really excited about this field (I wrote my undergraduate thesis on using BMIs to translate thoughts into speech). I believe that this field will grow in importance as AGI gets closer.
